The BOC launches the Team Brazil Guide for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games
The publication brings details about the trajectory of the 11 athletes called to compose the Brazilian delegation in China
How about getting to know more details about the athletes who will defend Brazil in the Winter Olympic Games? Did you know that there is an athlete who named their child in honor of a great adversary? That there is an Olympic Game participation record holder who is a "mother" to 5 hamsters? That there is a qualified athlete who has already practiced other 8 sports? That there are athletes from Acre, Ceará, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rio, and even the United States in the delegation?
Besides these, many other information and curiosities are in the Team Brazil Guide – Beijing 2022, launched by the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC) this Friday, 28th, seven days from the Open Ceremony of the event. But there will already be Brazilians competing before the official start of the event, on the 4th. Sabrina Cass, the first Brazilian athlete to arrive in Beijing for the Games, disputes the qualification in freestyle moguls skiing on the 3rd. The competition schedule for all Brazilians in Beijing and Brasília times is also in the Guide.

Beijing 2022 will be the ninth Brazilian participation in Winter Games. Since Albertville 1992, France, when Brazil's history in the competition began, until PyeongChang 2018, South Korea, there have been 35 different athletes in 8 modalities: alpine skiing, bobsled, cross-country skiing, luge, snowboarding, biathlon, freestyle skiing, and figure skating. The names of all these athletes and their results may also be checked in the publication.
The Team Brazil Guide – Beijing 2022 and all information on the Olympic Games are at the BOC portal, on the specific tab for Beijing 2022: https://www.cob.org.br/pt/pequim-2022/. The publication is available in a navigable format, and, for all its functionalities to operate successfully, a PDF reader is necessary.
