Brazilian Confederation of Wrestling
The first national soccer organization appeared on June 8, 1914, with the creation of the Brazilian Sports Federation. On December 5, 1916, the name was changed to the Brazilian Confederation of Sports (CBD). The CBD became known as the Brazilian Football Confederation on September 24, 1979.
